Mic Cables Xlr
how to connect a Condenser Microphone for laptop (XLR to USB I think?)?

what is a good way to do this? I do not want is poor quality, but I also do not want to spend a lot of money. Ive got the Xlr Cable, I just dont know how to adapt it to my laptop. I reording is software, so this is all I need! thanks!

What you need is a Usb Interface. To (one side) example. My Line 6 Pod XT. It has a guitar input and I think two microphone inputs. To the left and right output for the guitar, or you can do as a USB output for direct input to the computer, but it's like $ 200. You need to find a Uniting interface. I think the M-Audio Fast Track Pro or something like that is $ 100, but I'm not sure if it's compatible with XLR microphones. If you can find a good quality one, get a microphone with a 1 / 4 "TRS. To work with the M-Track. Obtaining an interface is almost the only option here. Try to find a price that has XLR inputs and a USB output and is recognized as an audio device in your laptop.
